Accenture Job Simulation on Forage
Musik App - Music player Lyrics feature implementation
About the Project
Project Background
Accenture is a consulting company that works with clients all over the world. This client, Musik, is focused on becoming a significant player in the music app space.
The target audience for the app is young adults who use iPhones, aged 16 to 21.
While the design team has completed a first draft of the music player, user research has uncovered a huge desire from its users to read and see lyrics while listening to the song. Therefore, a lyrics component could be a significant feature that adds the value Musik wants to draw other users in and take the app to the next level.

My Design Process
Project Background
Building upon the focus on readability, the design incorporates a feature that highlights the line currently being sung. This aligns with the core project requirement of enhancing the lyrics experience.
Here's how it benefits the user
Sing-Along Ready: Highlighting the current line allows users to easily follow along and sing with the music. This creates a more immersive and interactive experience for music lovers.
Improved Readability: Highlighting provides a visual cue, drawing the user's attention to the most relevant part of the lyrics. This can be particularly helpful for users who are unfamiliar with the song or those who struggle with reading speed.
Synchronised Scrolling: When the lyrics are placed in the thumb-scrollable area, the highlighting feature can be synchronised with the music. This ensures that the highlighted line remains within the user's view as the song progresses, eliminating the need for constant scrolling adjustments.
